Refund policy

 

While we would love to say we can accept returns, the on-demand printing nature of this service means that all sales and all merchandise are final. Please ensure you check the size of the product you order so that you understand what you are getting - all sizes are clearly stipulated on the product page.

If you suspect that you have been mis-shipped or you have received the wrong Merchandise by mistake, then please let us know by sending an email to info@flatlaystudio.co.za and we will work with you to make things right.

Damaged Goods

In the unlikely case that a product be defective or damaged during transit, we accept returns and will replace the product as long as damages are reported within 48 hours of the delivery date.  Should you fail to report damages in time, we cannot replace the item because we cannot claim from the courier after 48 hours.

If your merchandise is damaged when it arrives, please take clear photos of the packaging damage as well as the damaged products and email or WhatsApp us these images along with your order number or name so we can investigate (please do not send these on DM in Instagram as it is incredibly hard to track and respond timeously).

The following process is then followed:

We review your images, and if the items are still able to be used, we will offer you a freebie or discount. 

If the product needs to be replaced, we will submit a claim to the relevant courier (as long as we've been contacted within 48 hours of delivery), once the claim is approved we will then arrange collection of the damaged goods as well as the replacement. This takes up to 2 weeks long. 

The couriers are very strict about claims and review video footage to check for possible mishandling. We too package all products carefully in protective packaging and try use reputable couriers. 

 

Digital Downloads Return and refund Policy

All sales are final, and the Company does not offer any money-back guarantees for digital downloads. You recognise and agree that you shall not be entitled to a refund for any purchase under any circumstances.
